The Dead Chat

Hedo, the only way for a cult to win this is if there was a trusted town member who could influence actions and lynches. I think Charles did what he thought was best. It tickles my ego that he would choose me for the hail mary but I still hate the fact that I lose.

Yah, if there is one guy to blame, it's Hedouville, not me. My plan was brilliant, but then a monkey wrench was thrown in. I guess it was because Hedouville was converted by the other cult. Had that not happened, we would be able to avoid any attention for much longer.

Charles' idea to convert someone was genius and I don't think anyone in the town is realizing what soul swapper actually did.  I still hate you Charles for choosing me to take down with you, but if it weren't for Hedo we could have won.  I even had a good excuse for why I didn't send out a gun....

Plz explain that to me i would love to hear it.

TBH, what he should of done is do a faction kill have the soul swapper swap him and someone and save him a night foring us to lynch him the next day. He was smart on getting one final recruit out, but coverted the wrong target. i was going to kill him regardless if he was smith or not, i couldnt let the charm maker be in control of a gun. he should of done a faction kill on mason witch hunter, i kill the lookout, sk kills, they myslynch, both factions kill again and with sk, town would be in decimation by then.

you had a good idea overall but converted not only the wrong target, but i overall, think you did the wrong action of doing a final recuit.

really i would still have napolien known as the hidden cult but i would keep him alive long enough to use his faction kill to finish off town

not really like i said earlier it was a good plan going foward but you failed to see recuting him was not even a remotly good idea, i would of killed him anyway. i was expecting you to let me live and do faction kills instead. it would of been easier for us to do it if we had the faction kills and not a recuit becasue he had a cooldown for his kill.

also if i was a cult leader i would get one memeber and then do some kills

I was going to explain how I didn't get to a computer on time because of RL reasons. No one else had noted any of my activity the night earlier (I was told to be anonymous in the cult chat) so I just needed to pop onto the day chat a few hours in and say, "fuck me I forgot to get you a gun today Port, I can get you a gun tomorrow night." I would then sacrifice him and then start working on killing the rest of the town.

That's a fucking boring way to play as scum. You have to take control of the town and influence its actions. Even while I was a student I was edging myself into the town leader role (I was looking for a cult leader)

fair point but if you remained student and were going to pass out a gun after master death, me killing you would stop the gun being handed out by OoO. i decided to take the safe route and not let the masons have any chance at guns. the other thing i saw is that i could of controlled the witch hunter and make him target who i want and then use decpetion to get you guys out.

that is what i was doing as well, howver with so many confirmed roles (masons and mind melder) i needed to take out towns kpn first, if you noticed i was dubbed as a town for most part and had them mostly convinced i was a survivor.

the key sometimes is to take out the high profile targets and leave it to lurkfest. is it supid somethimes? maybe. but is it a legitament and viable startagy? yes it is.

i would only keep me as survivor for so long as well. if he would of done some kills instead of recuit, i think he would of had a better chance.

even if he merly took charm maker, it would be one less confirmed role

know what i find funny, is how ypmagic said this was going to be a lurkfest game. and lo and behold, it was not a lurkfest, it was rather a fun little intresting game.

I know, right? Even the lack of kills made the game interesting. There were lulls in activity but it always came back. I enjoyed the game. I enjoyed trying to figure out what people's roles were. I enjoyed the simultaneous disappointment and bewilderment at finding Sontho's role. I especially enjoyed finding the key to both Cult Leaders in the same time.

One thing I didn't enjoy was the bullshit that Cath seems to spout. There's an entire thread in student chat about that....

Its louiswill he can be easy to manipulate at times if you know how to do it properly (like i did), i was going to keep him alive till late game and use him to get all of myslynches

i wish you took me as mentor, we would of had so much fun come night 2. i would of been telling you that im ghost and we found a cult leader and shit hits the fan rather quickly.

i do have to ask though, why snothax? personally from day one i thought you were escort/witch hunter by the saays comments of acting like a female

i was also making rp in my hideout but would forget it when i sat down to make it

That was an option but I decided not to choose you because of your terrible, terrible way of using the damn pictures. I can't reward behavior like that.

I chose Sontho because he said that there was an escort in the game. He didn't mention witch hunter and he was hiding something. I didn't see many people's attitudes change during the day so I reasoned that he was roleblocked and didn't get a conversion off. Either that or he was a missionary who was roleblocked and that's why no citizens were converted.

Thanks. I appreciate the support. Sorry that I seemed to be on the opposite alignment. I was sooooo confused when I got a PM saying I was converted and now I'm a doll master. I was trying to think of how that was possible if killing actions came before conversions. I was hoping that I was still blacksmith and it was some dreamweaver fuckery. When the night chat details came in, I knew. I was in for a challenge.

I really, really didn't like the pictures. There is no other reason for not choosing you.

Same here. I just don't get it. I'm pretty sure that Capois is the SK but I need to know WHY. It's puzzling.

This game would be great, but people ruined it:P SK didn't kill, Cult started to gamethrow, we had our share of lurkers. I still liked it because during first two days all of my random ideas paid off, but other than that it was weird.

Hopefully I'll never see Hypersniper in a game ever again.
