I think we should focus on finding the bus driver. If we can find the bus driver and keep him alive, that would be great because then we can have a known member of the yellow team. I can send him a message with our names. We can then form a voting block to get out the other guys.

Once we do that, my role as a courier is less important. If we use my language as that of the blackmail, I can take the heat for being the blackmailer. If they decide they want to kill me, so be it. We'll still have our own original blackmailer if I die.

For now we should focus on how to lynch tomorrow. After this we will probably find potential allies and enemies. Our enemies and allies will be watching for us. How should we lynch together in non-obvious way? Should we claim when being lynched?Razz

I say we start from the assumption we are the town. That's what I always do when playing scum, hence why my play doesn't deviate too much (well according to myself).

Deathworlds should claim courier if he's about to be lynched. He wouldn't show any different to a lookout/detective. I'll claim blackmailer if I'm about to be lynched. The courier is much less valuable than the blackmailer anyway.

This setup will be different. There is no scummy behavior. We should try to find the bus driver, but we cannot rolefish. Rolefishing is probably the one scum tell in the entire game at the start.

Whatever we do, we do not vote each other day 1 unless it becomes obvious that one of us will be lynched.



Not Host But Answering: I'd imagine such a blackmail is not allowed as it would likely be conditional.

Okay so. Our goal is to find the Surenos. And have the bloods and the Nortenos dead.

And I agree. Finding the Bus Driver would be excellent for the Cirps. Our second pirority should be finding and eliminating the couriers of the Blood and the Nortenos. If we elimiate communication between the other gangs they cannot vote together and will be unable to gain a voting majority.

We can come up with whatever blackmail we want, provided it's allowed by the setup. We could even create a blackmail along the lines of, try to get lynched. Or try to get Player X lynched. Both of those wouldn't be bad either.

Basically, we can do anything with the following limitations
Blackmails must not require input from any source, thread, player, or otherwise.
Blackmails must not be conditional, as this would require input.
Blackmails must not be time constrained.
Blackmails must be possible without out breaking forum or game rules.
Blackmails must consist of only one task.
Blackmails must be approved by the host.

I agree with your plan so far.

If we want to guarantee the lynch between two players, we can pick someone and make them claim veteran. The focus would naturally turn to one of the two players is lying. If no one else claims veteran, we can
assume by random chance we picked the real one. The downside is problematic if we pick a Yellow Player and they are lynched.

I think targeting the veteran at night is a bad idea. I would rather gain the veterans vote. I think the veteran would most likely fear me for my ability to control him. Maybe if you (Courier) can contact the bus driver then you can can the Sureno's courier to gain his vote?

I cannot contact the Bus Driver without knowing who he is. I have to give a player name Ex: Titus, instead of Crips Courier.

WE wouldn't be targeting the veteran. Also, there's no night kill so the veteran wouldn't alert. The blackmail I'm proposing is to CLAIM Veteran.

One of the players will already be outed as a liar.

I'm thinking Banshis, TDL, Sinclair or AppleyNo then. Ika always comes after me at some point or I go after him, so he's a poor choice because the blackmail would be traced to my faction. The others, I'm not seeing them as large threats yet.

Considering you like the idea of getting rid of TDL, I can go along with that. I'll start crafting the blackmail.

You have been blackmailed. You must try as hard as you can to persuade the group that you are the veteran. You are not allowed to "give up" at any point during the day, even if it seems like the group believes the other person is the veteran.

I disagree for day 1. A communication system would trip us up more than help us for day 1. For later days, we can and probably should come up with a communication system.

For now, I also think the lookout should be on myself or D. We are the two players most likely to be visited D1.
